Created while studying at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art - Northern Spirit depicts the killer whale. Designed in the traditional northern Tlingit style which is recognized by its simple ovoid and u-forms, creating an unembellished primary formline. Then which is adorned by a secondary formline and tertiary design. Small rounded faces are sometimes present in the works.
